Hanuri Korean: Reviews & Ratings
Great place, great food.. like Yigah but better bon chons and they give you a rice drink for dessert. They also have military stew, dumpling soup is full of dumplings.
A very chill lowkey Korean spot with all the classics and then some (they have oyster bibimbap!) The bonchon was exceptional- so many different types and I really liked all of them. The potato salad had apples in it which was tasty and a nice touch. The actual main course was AMAZING. The Bossam was a very large portion for only $37. Very, very yummy. We had a lot of leftover which we packed and got to enjoy for another 2 days.
The place is really hide away, but i like the portion and price of this place, some side dish are good. The cold buckwheat noodle are a good dish to share, the bibimbap is also good but would want more meat though cause i like to eat meat more. I got full on just 1 dish, i got 3 dish for 3 people and it is a lot of food. Worth a revisit if i ever want some korean cold noodle. If they have gimbap it would be lot more interesting since i like to snack on gimbap if done right.
I got the short rib soup and it came out pretty fast. The soup was good but I wasn't a big fan of the banchans. The people working there were nice and I would come back to try other menus. Don't expect too much for the banchans though. The place isn't too big but enough space available.
Great spicy cold buckwheat noodles and amazing side dishes! The grandma there is so sweet! I would come back for the side dishes.
The server was super friendly and all their food were sooooo delicious!!! We ordered Pureed Soybean Soup and Cabbage Hangover Soup and both were just like ones we had in Korea. These were more like soju food, if you know what i mean We really liked their side dishes too - especially the pan fried potato and 열무 kimchi. Highly recommended if you are looking for Korean comfort food (:
Was on the hunt for Korean comfort food and decided to try this place based on the reviews. They have three tables outside for dining and it was clear they had a robust takeout operation. Given that it’s a modest unassuming spot, I was impressed with how busy it was and the food was great. Four of us sat at one of the nostalgic tables from the days of playing in the ball pit at McDonald’s. (You’ll know if you go.) We started out with an order of the steamed veggie and pork dumplings which are made in house. They were perfectly cooked and were delicious. (The dumplings themselves are traditionally bland and meant to be dipped in the ponzu-like dipping sauce.) For entrees we ordered a selection of grilled meats (kalbi, bulgogi, and spicy pork bulgogi) and there were all really good. The bulgogi was tender and well-seasoned and the spicy pork had enough heat without burning my lips. We also ordered a bowl of kalguksu (knife -cut noodles in broth) which was enormous! They offer a selection of broths including clam, beef bone broth, and traditional anchovy which is what I opted for. The broth was savory and the noodles were great. It easily could have served as the meal for two people. As for the banchan (side dishes), they presented a nice array of options, including a veggie-fruit salad and sautéed potato sticks which I hadn’t had since I was a kid. All very good. They serve beer and soju and the service was warm. If you’re willing to overlook the understated decor, I think you’ll be pleased with the selection and flavor of the food. It’s definitely found a spot in our regular rotation going forward.
Delicious food with great flavors and sauces. The hostess was nice and provided great food suggestions. You are served VERY large portions. All side dishes were tasty, especially the kimchi.
